Question / Help I'm hearing myself through OBS

This is a really big problem for me. When I try to record desktop audio my mic will just start echoing cause the sound will be recorded through OBS. Any help? If you need to know anything just ask, and also my monitoring is off.

Try going into "Advanced Audio Properties" and see if the audio monitor is turned on, if it is than just set it to off. It should fix it, if not than I don't know as I'm not that knowledgeable with OBS.

If you are using audio monitoring, check the device set in Settings > Advanced > Audio Monitoring Device and make sure you aren't sending your monitor output to your default windows audio device, because that will cause this if you are recording from that interface.

Mu audio monitoring is off
