why is obs so broken????

ive been using obs for years, rarely because i prefer fraps by very far

when i try to record a game, it doesnt detect the game
like it takes a lot of EFFORT to detect the game

i remember having this problem since 2018 & is 2021 & is still the same

seriously

it takes a lot of EFFORT sometimes to detect the game window, it appears black

how it takes so much effort to detect the game window????
& people say this obs is better than fraps????

fraps is flawless & detects anything automatically super easy & fast
unlike this obs thing

ive been having this headache problem since years with different computers

seriously how people even dare to compare fraps with this broken software

edit; for the people that say fraps has the problem of having massive video size in gb
with obs is the same
fraps records with flawless quality which makes videos very big
obs has the same feature
in order to record with very high quality the videos have a massive size, obs is the same

I have been experiencing this too- see the red square at the top left of the window?
I think that's a clue that OBS things the video is 0x0 size.
I'm trying to get to the bottom of this myself.
I think we need to upload a log file.
