Question / Help If my computer cant handle streaming what do i need to upgrade?

the title says it all i live stream to twitch at really low bitrate (like 4000) and i wanted to know what i should upgrade to be able to go higher

This was made with Ultrafast encoding profile
Your CPU can´t handle encoding

Reduce to 30 FPS.
If no lag, yo can try Superfast to get better image.



By the way, you are on a MAC

This is WINDOWS support section.

I don´t know how to encode with your MAC GPU, if possible.
This could be the solution.
 
and btw with the presets i want the one that has the least cpu i thought that was ultra fast but is the slowest the one that uses least cpu?
 
Ultrafast uses the least CPU.
Going down (superfast, veryfast, faster, fast....) increases CPU usage


So, try 1080p 30 FPS

But I think you have to go to 720p 30FPS to have little/ no lag
