I'd like to inquire about how to set up the loopback function on the Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre.

Hello, and I apologize if my English is a bit awkward.
I recently found out that the Clarett+ I purchased doesn't have the loopback function, and I'm seeking help since I need to use only this product for streaming.

Currently, I'm using all 8 channels of the interface's analog inputs, applying effects in the DAW, and then doing the final output mixing. Due to the lack of loopback functionality, the DAW's output isn't being captured in OBS.

Are there any physical or software-based methods to set up loopback, or could you provide detailed information on using S/PDIF for this purpose? I've come across a few threads mentioning S/PDIF, and I'm curious to know more about it.

Soundflower loopback (software) is one option you can use, I think VB cable should work too.

Does OBS not see the DAW output itself as a potential audio input capture source (separate from the Clarett hardware)? You could also try MacOS audio capture, then choose Application capture and choose the DAW software if you're on Ventura or later and OBS 28 or later.
