Question / Help iConnect Audio4+ - How do I get OBS to Recognize Inputs 3&4 on the Soundcard?

I am using an iConnect Audio4+ for my audio card, running mic and line in audio. The sound card has four mc/line in inputs on it. I can only get OBS to recognize audio on inputs 1+2 as a stereo channel. Audio coming in on channels 3&4 through the sound card are not recognized in OBS.

In OBS there does not appear to be an option in the audio settings to select the input audio channels from hardware. Is this just a limitation on the software or is it located somewhere else?

For example, in Garageband you can see that I can select the available inputs from the audio card.

I do not see any option for that in the OBS audio options

Could be a limitation on the software. You can't assign 1+2 as a device, and 3+4 as a device. You can only assign the device (iConnect Audio4+) as a single device.

OBS only supports 2 channel audio. You'll need some other software that can create virtual stereo devices from the hardware devices you want, something like SoundFlower, LoopBack, Jack or the like.
