Do you have an example video of said problem? I looked through some of your log and it shows fewer than 1 percent of frames where lagged or stalled. That should mean it was a smooth recording.

18:44:42.818: Output 'adv_stream': stopping
18:44:42.818: Output 'adv_stream': Total frames output: 876090
18:44:42.818: Output 'adv_stream': Total drawn frames: 876161 (876184 attempted)
18:44:42.818: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 23 (0.0%)
18:44:42.829: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Freeing 2 remaining packets
18:44:42.829: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 24/876099 (0.0%)

I was referring to recording a video with OBS that is choppy from the dropped frames. Even the video you posted shows no dropped frames according to the stats.

Is the video choppy in the preview of OBS or the outputted file from OBS?

What program are you using the review to footage? I have had problems with VLC being laggy when reviewing footage I have recorded from OBS.

So, in this pic you can see that you only missed 11 frames out of 496800 thats pretty good u know.
Sometimes you have frame drops even with ur gtx 2080 and i9. BTW could state at which time u see a framedrop in ur vid? I rly dont wanna watch 2h+ of PUBG

Under your NVENC encoder settings, change the following:

1) Select "Quality" preset;
2) Disable Psycho Visual Tuning.

Then use "Game capture" instead of "Monitor capture", as it is significantly more efficient and performant.

Lastly, if you are running Windows 10 version 1903, leaving "Game Mode" enabled is now recommended.

Test again and come back if you're still having issues.

As an offtopic remark, setting monitor to 120Hz refresh rate and game to 120FPS can help smooth out the stream, as 120 divides evenly into your encoding settings' 60FPS capture.
