Hi! I am having an issue with OBS or any other recording program really (apart from Shadowplay and Bandicam which work perfectly fine even at highest settings), whatever I set OBS to use (both x264 or GPU encoding) my final output is not even watchable. Haven't been able to record or stream anything that doesn't lag A LOT (I can play at 60FPS while recording, but OBS shows 10-30FPS). 1080p recording or 4K recording doesn't change much, not even bitrate. I have tried ultrafast, setting obs to high priority, disabling Game Mode, disabling Shadowplay in the background, closing all apps ecc.. I am recording on an SSD with enough space in it. I have a Gbps internet connection with 200Mbps upload speed.

I even tried setting up my 4K 60 Pro to record my PC and do the heavy duty work but no luck there.

I have attached two log files with different settings.

Thank you

This is the OBS support forum. You're using Streamlabs OBS, which has their own separate developers and support channels (including a very active discord).

That said, you're encountering rendering lag. SLOBS doesn't have enough GPU resources available to composite the scene. You need to ensure whatever game you're running is staying below ~90% GPU usage, and that your framerate is capped (either with a maximum framerate setting, or using vsync).

Also, be absolutely sure game mode is disabled. Unless you're on the October 2018 update (which has very slowly been rolling out), you don't have any settings other than registry edits to disable game mode. Unfortunately, because those are streamlabs logs, it doesn't show whether game mode is on or not.

I disabled Game Mode via registry so that's not it. I am sorry for posting this here as it's a Streamlabs OBS issue, but thanks for helping me out anyway. I'll try to ask for help on their Discord.

Have a nice day
