I5 4690k vs I7 4790k vs I7 6700K

What are the differences between the above cpus when it comes to streaming? I currently have the I5 4690K and am looking to uograde. I mainly stream csgo,

you would need atleast need a 6800k preferable better to feel a differents of your upgrade, so wait for zen maybe they are good.

The difference between the i7 4790k to the 6700k isnt that huge when it comes to streaming but between an i5 and i7 theres a huge difference especially with games like CSGO when you are aiming for something like 720p60.

thats correct. If you want the 6700k you have to buy a new Motherboard as well.

Issues with the 4790k is the availability nowadays since those are rather old by todays standards. Buying new Hardware today I would suggest going with either AMD RyZen when its released and benchmarked properly by reviewers or simply with current gen i7 7700k and a Z270 Mainboard.

If you can get a 4770k or 4790k, do that so you don't need a new motherboard. They're all really close to each other in performance, certainly not worth hundreds to quibble between.
