Hey there,
I just got an Elgato HD60 Pro for recording console gameplay (I had AverMedia Live Gamer HD). I want to stream for my viewers, but I also want to record a raw copy of the gameplay without all of the webcam/overlay/commentary nonsense for reviews and other content on YouTube. Is there an option within Studio to pull this off? I've read about projecting the gameplay to a second monitor and recording it that way, but that seems too resource intensive and like a bit of a pain.
I watched Drift0r's Elgato HD60 Pro review in which he references this option within the Elgato software and says that a "record and play" feature would be coming to OBS and XSplit soon. That video was uploaded a year ago now, so I would think the option is here now.
Is this possible? If not, what is the easiest way to pull this off? I've got two computers if that makes things any easier.
