Question / Help I want my media source to play ONLY when i go live please help

Hello

i want to stream a video but i want as soon as i click on start streaming the media source also start is that possible cause right now as soon as i add the media source it it just plays right away and doesn't wait for the live streaming to start so i would lose couple of seconds in my video and video is only like 50 seconds so i don't want to waste anything you know what i mean so please could you help me do that

i want to add the media source file and it doesn't play until i goes live

i use YouTube by the way

so please guys advice me on how to do that please ASAP

I understand what you want to do, but it isn't sensible do do, because in the moment you click "start streaming" your stream has 0 viewers connected. They chime in with some delay. Some minimum amount of seconds after they get the announcement that you are online. So the first seconds of any stream are viewed by nobody or only by the first few viewers, so the first seconds or minutes of your video would not be seen by anyone anyway.

Instead, streamers will prepare a "online soon" scene with only a static image. Start streaming by showing this scene. Some minutes later, after enough viewers have joined, you actually start your action and do this by switching to your real scenes. You are able to configure a media source to "restart playback when source becomes active", so you have your feature, because this event happens if you switch to the scene with that source. VLC media source has a similar setting in its properties.
