I updated the program today but there is a audio problem

when i open the program i hear the mic in my headphones but that doesnt happen when the program is not open.
i checked the audio configurations on the system when i record from the microphone and the "listen to the device" in the audio recording in not active... what can i do?

in OBS, click the 3 dots at the end of the microphone slider in the audio dock, select "advanced audio properties" find your microphone in the list and make sure that it is not set to "Monitor and Output" if you don't want to hear the mic locally select "Monitor Off"
