Hello all,
I installed OBS 30.1.2 and initially, it worked fine. However, after adding a video capture device source for my webcam (AUKEY PC-LM1E 1080p), the webcam feed was almost completely black and had poor fps.
In the properties > configure video settings, I found the exposure was set very low. After adjusting the exposure to a reasonable level, the webcam's output remained super choppy. Changing the "Resolution/FPS Type" settings did not improve the situation.
I've restarted and unplugged your PC and webcam, checked the drivers (which haven't changed), and looked through forums without finding a solution.
I did use the setup wizard and assume this caused the issue. Using a fresh install without the set up wizard did change anything. Additionally, when initially adding the webcam the fps and video format are in red, I'm not sure if this means anything. Any help is appreciated.
edit: I would of attached a log file but I assume the reinstallation voids any use of that
