Question / Help I need to do a fresh install of Windows but I do not want to lose all of my OBS settings.

I need to do a fresh install of Windows but I do not want to lose all of my OBS settings. What folders and files do I need to backup to keep my settings?

I am "upgrading" to Windows 10 but because of my current OS I cannot directly upgrade to Windows 10 and I have to do a fresh install meaning I will lose all of my files. I don't mind having to reinstall or setup anything else other than OBS, I would love to keep the settings the way I have them set. By settings, I mean my sources and scenes as well as the actual settings.

Backup this directory

C:\Users\*YOUR_USER**\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio\basic

Another way to access that folder is to type %appdata% in the box from windows key + R
