Why are you using advanced mode, when you very clearly have no idea what you're doing?

Advanced does not mean better quality. Set the mode back to simple, and use the recording presets.

There are no "best settings." Please understand that every setup, for every use case, will be very different. Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary. Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having, but we will not give you a list of settings.

Alternately, you can try the Auto-config from the Tools menu.

You do NOT have everything set up correctly. You have it set up horribly.

Simple output mode is not in the advanced settings, and you should not be changing those unless you are absolutely certain you understand the settings any why you need to.

Chang the output mode to Simple in Settings -> Ouput and then set up the local recording presets under the Recording section.

Ok, I've changed it to simple then I changed recording quality to high quality, medium file size, the format to mp4 and the encoder to software x264 and nothing is in custom muxer settings

If the quality is terrible, try increasing the preset quality. Use Indistinguishable instead of High Quality, or if you have several hundred gigabytes of space you can also try Lossless
