Question / Help I have trouble setting up my local recording, I can't choose the encoder I want.

So basically, I want to stream with quicksync and record my gameplay with NVENC.

My problem is when I'm in the recording tab (advanced mode) I only have Video encoder and Audio encoder

I don't know if I'm clear enough, but I want to be able to choose NVENC in my recording, because atm I think it will record with quicksync right ?

You're in the wrong output mode. You should not be using custom output ffmpeg

I want my container format to be .avi, thats why I'm using a custom output (it's not available in standard output tab)

ffmpeg doesn't do NVEnc to my knowledge, so the two settings are in conflict. You have to choose one or the other. Better to just remux to .avi after the fact.
