I have been experimenting with OBS for like 4 years now. With school though it has been more like 2 XD. Anyway, I started using OBS studio which was way better, but I was trying to record on an OLD laptop with like 4 GB of ram and no CPU to brag about. I finally built my own PC which is way better and can handle most games easily. I will post specs below. Once I got all my games downloaded and OBS too, I started experimenting with the settings trying to see how far I could push em. But they never looked amazing. Definitely better than my laptop days but still room for improvement. I could have settled on that quality but when I uploaded to Youtube... OMG, it was like the TV went to static but still had color. I read that Youtube encodes videos to make them compatible with Youtube so I read around on what the right settings are and tried inputting those on OBS studio but that didn't do the trick. I had recently got Adobe Premier so took a crash course than tried to render the raw footage with the encoder settings Youtube requires and I couldn't figure it out so I forgot about it for like 4 months then posted this. I will post some samples on Youtube of the various settings I tried in the near future if anyone responds to this post. Also if you know if there is twitter, facebook, or Reddit community with lots of starting out Youtubers or people with edit and video knowledge, that would be much awesome.

PC SPECS
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 1050 Ti
MEMORY: 8 GB DDR4-2800
STORAGE: 120 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD
those are the important bits I think.
