So I'm new to OBS but I wanted to record GTA V but when I watched back on the recordings I saw that the fps in them was very low but when I played I had over 100 fps
IDK if this helps but I've heard I have to upload my logs: https://obsproject.com/logs/QFsMojADCxr_yqeA
I also want to say that I tried recording Terraria but I had good frames in the recording, could it be GTAs fault?

Code:
22:37:40.742: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 655/825 (79.4%)

Your CPU cannot do 1080p60 x264 encoding. It is tool old, and doesn't have QuickSync either.

Your best bet would be to try AMF encoding with your GPU.

I found out that turning v-sync half or on fixes it but when I turn v-sync on my fps drops
that's the point of vsync. it limits your framerate to your monitor's refresh rate so you can leave some resources to encode video. Also, your CPU is indeed fairly old at this point, so you should also try using your graphics card to encode.
