I don’t have the same software download as seen on YouTube

I advise being way more explicit about exactly which software you are referring to?
OBS Studio itself - go here https://obsproject.com/download - as with all software, verify your computer meets the requirements for the latest version
a plug-in by a 3rd party?
hopefully you aren't referring to Streamlab's OBS (which is a a derivative product by another group)
