Correction. I can't use the same webcam source twice.

Add the second and additional sources of the same webcam with the "add existing" option, not with "add new". Remove all filters, because they are inherited by all source instances. For cropping the sources differently, hold down the ALT key and drag the borders to crop. This is specific per instance. If you need to apply filters, put the source instance into a group and apply the filters to the group and not to the instance directly.
