when I try to stream darkest dungeon with OBS M i get a still image. I have tried the things on their website like turning off steam overlay and sutch.

When I try to stream with the obs the other one. I get a preview screen that works fine but i don't broadcast it to twitch. I have added my stream key.

Any one know how to fix this?

Darkest dungeon appears to be working with game capture -- there used to be an issue where it wouldn't render the capture properly due to the strange way that the game handles its backbuffer, but it seems the latest versions of the game have fixed the issue.

Hi, I've run into this similar problem myself last night. The game capture settings work all the way up until you get into Darkest Dungeon's loading screen. It doesn't matter whether it's local recording or streaming, the capture stops capturing at the loading screen. The only way to bypass this is to use the the capture Monitor.

I hope I did that right.

Is your copy of Darkest Dungeon up to date?
Yup. Bought it during the holiday steam sale. Unless they updated it between then and today.

EDIT: I validated the integrity of the game's cache through Steam, and tried it again. It still gets stuck at a loading screen when using the game capture settings.

Once again, the monitor capture works completely fine.

That's the most recent log.

I know Multiplatform is still in the works and I don't expect a fix to come any time soon, so I hope this helps you guys in any way. I really do like using this over the old OBS.

I run a GTX 650Ti. It doesn't matter whether or not I run the game in windowed mode or fullscreen, but it does matter whether I set OBS to monitor capture vs game capture just strictly for Darkest Dungeon. Any other game (the ones I've recorded and streamed so far) seems to record using the game capture settings just fine.

I had this problem on my laptop, and was of the understanding that it was one of two issues. The first of which is an issue with OBS M and Direct Draw, the other was an issue between the integrated graphics cards in most laptops and OBS M, when the game switches from the loading screen to the actual game your gaming graphics card starts being used, but since the integrated graphics card is used for the intro and initial loading screen it messes up the capture. Monitor capture is the only work around that I have found with OBS M.
