Question / Help I can't replicate my success?

On my Mac I have connected my iPhone to my computer and when I launch OBS I can select under Video capture device my iPhone. Which is great because it's just mirroring what on my iPhone screen and all I need to do is turn my phone on to Do not disturb and I get no notifications.

Now I know that this is the Mac support thread but I can NOT get OBS to do this anywhere else. I have a Mac at work and it won't see my iPhone as a video capture device, as well as my Windows laptop won't see the phone.

It's very frustrating because I can't see what I've done differently on any of the platforms. I'm not sure what anyone can do to help me but I'm hoping someone can.

Pretty sure that won't work on Windows. Does a connected iPhone show up as a video device in any other application-- say, for instance, Skype?

Not sure why it doesn't work on your other Mac. When you connect them, does your phone ask to Trust the computer? If so, do you answer yes?
