I can't record videos

System is old enough that its hardware encoders are no longer supported

I know 27.2.4 will work (link in sig) but you may be able to go up 28 or 29. https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases
Please keep in mind that older versions are not supported but you can still ask general questions. If you have any issues with older versions, start with the Log Analyzer and do as much as you can software wise (besides updating OBS). If you're having issues capturing games with Game Capture then, run OBS as Admin. If you don't know how to do that, that's acceptable to ask.
