Question / Help I cant open OBS after update .

I have a Mac pro OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 .The last time i opened OBS the program prompted me to update and when i clicked
for the update and downloaded it then when i try to open it again the error messages started.I deleted the program with the app cleaner
then try to download it again but nope .Now i get the message that i have to communicate with you guys to have my old version OBS back
