I just installed a elgato HD60 Pro. I have a android box as an input. When i open OBS and add the capture device, i only see video but don't hear audio. I can see the meter in the mixer window moving and the audio does record fine on the recording. I just can't hear it from the pc speakers (win10). VLC, and the Elgato gaming software both work fine, and you see and hear the video.
Help please. I think i remember getting it to work once by checking a box in the windows setup called "listen to this" , or something like that.
I like obs because of the video quality options, and the timer feature. I'm just using this device to record moves from my android tv box. I don't need any streaming or special audio features. Is there better software for just recording movies? VLC is too basic.
