Hello,

Here's the last log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/lMX_leIq505fI8N8

I cannot seem to stream to YouTube from my computer (Comp A). Oddly enough it does work sending to Facebook Live. My instinct said that it was an issue on YouTube's end, but I can get it working when I run OBS on a different computer (Comp B). I've deduced that it's OBS on the Comp A by the following:

Stream from OBS on Comp B to YouTube on Comp A works.
Stream from OBS on Comp B to YouTube on Comp B works.
Stream from OBS on Comp A to YouTube on Comp B does not work.
Stream from OBS on Comp A to YouTube on Comp A does not work.

Error message in OBS says:
Failed to Connect to Server. The connection timed out. Make sure you've configured a valid streaming service and no firewall is blocking the connection.

When I go to System Settings>Security>Firewall: it says no Firewall is up and all connections are allowed.

It also seems to freeze often when I quit the program, so I end up needing to force quit it to restart or try again.

I deleted the app from the application folders and emptied the trash and reinstalled it. When I opened it my old settings and scenes were still there and the streming still doesn't work. Not sure if I need to wipe old files as part of a reinstall.

Can anyone help??

Here the internet connection speed might also be considered because uploading (OBS) and downloading (YouTube) both at equal rate is quite demanding. And you seems to be using a non streaming resolution.
That screen size and that FPS is not recommended from YouTube.
Make sure you have the settings that YouTube wants from you.( For HD ready resolution.)
  • Resolution: 1280x720
  • Video Bitrate Range: 1,500-4,000 Kbps
And while creating event or live stream select variable stream quality at YouTube. There will be many options like variable ,1080 60 frames ,1080, 720, 2K ,4K etc.

I can change the output resolution to 1195x720 or 1440x900 (which is the Base (Canvas) Resolution also). Neither seems to produce the desired reception within YT. The Video Bitrate seems to be set at 2500 which is within that range unless I'm missing something. I can't see anywhere to select Frame Rate within the YT settings. There's no spec settings when creating a LiveStream in YT actually that I can see. Just questions about name, release time, and he intended audience. Anything else I could try here or something I am missing?
