Question / Help I can´t hear any sound from OBS capturing HDMI

Hello, fellows,

I´m new on OBS ( of course ), but after 1 or 2 hours trying all the sorts of things, I can´t hear any sound from any of my sound cards. Normally, on all broadcast softwares, like Xsplit, or Wirecast, When I launchy my capture card, I instantly hear what I will broadcast ( preview ), but no, I hear nothing. I see the image, I can capture, the audio is OK on the recording file, but no preview. How to fix it ? Thanks in advance.

In your Sources Window right click your capture card, choose Properties and then scroll all the way down to Audio Output Mode, change this to DirectSound or WaveOut whichever works for you. Note that this causes your Capture Audio to appear in your Desktop Audio Device.

Adrian, only another question: How to hear the media files also ? There´s no directsound or waveout on the property of the media files. Thanks for helping me. OBS studio is simply awesome !! I used to play with wirecast, but I´m very surprised that almost everything I did on wirecast I can do on OBS studio.
