I'm having a lot of pixelation on my live streams and I can't figure out why. This is coming from obs studio only. The same camstreamer directly from the camera to YouTube and I have no issues with those streams. I've been doing this for a long time and I'm an IT guy for 34 years and I've tried to isolate this and it's definitely coming from obs studio and I don't know why or how to fix it.

The server I'm using is a Dell power edge 740 with an NVIDIA RTX 4090.
I have 3 streams in the one screen the two streams in the corner are streaming at 640 by 480 and the mainstream is streaming 1920 by 1080.

I've attached a picture that I was able to show what's going on continuously in all the windows I'm not sure why that's happening?

like I said the screens in the corners they're very low res 640 by 480 they're not using that many resources, processors on the server are running at 8% and video card is running at 38%.

Any ideas would be helpful I have over 300,000 subscribers and a lot of people watching this 24/7 and the pixelation is terrible all the time I don't understand why?

and FYI, always updated latest obs and latest windows.

And yesterday this server rebooted at 12:03 PM. There was nothing an event viewer except saying loss of power. It's plugged into a UPS and none of the other servers went down so I don't know what happened kind of unsettling. If I wouldn't have been here to restart the stream I would have lost my stream from YouTube so reliability is out the door at this point I don't know what's going on. There was no errors in event viewer.

Thanks

OBS can sometimes drop frames if the encoder is overloaded, which can cause pixelation or lag during your stream.
To check what’s going on, open OBS Stats (Ctrl+Shift+I or View → Stats) and look for these key metrics:
  • Dropped Frames – High numbers usually mean network issues.\
  • Encoding Lag – This happens when your PC struggles to process the video.
  • Rendering Lag – Could indicate GPU overload.

Here are some things you can try:
  • Lower your bitrate (e.g., from 8000 kbps to 6000 kbps).
  • Make sure OBS is using NVENC (New) instead of x264.
  • Enable dynamic bitrate adjustment in streaming settings.
  • Close unnecessary apps that may be using system resources.
  • Use a wired internet connection instead of Wi-Fi for better stability.

Have you already tried any of these fixes?

I'm not seeing any issues with any of those things you mentioned above and I'm using 10 gigabit fiber on the network so there's no network issues. Going to look at stats and see what it says.

I moved obs to another server and had the same issue so I'm starting to think it's not obs it may be coming from the axis camera, could be intermittent network connection? I see there's a few firmware updates for the cameras so I'm gonna do those later tonight and see if that solves the problem.
