Soo basicly when I downloaded OBS on my laptop its Preview been glitching and screen tearing I would say kinda white and moving anything across would just make it copy tear it across that white I would appriciate anyone who knew a way to fix this issue thank you any more info about this issues we can go live or give you info about all neccesary to find the issue just give me a message on my discord as I am not active on any other App or website as for my discord its name its : "mr.wolvie"

Try running OBS as an administrator and make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. If you have a laptop with two graphics cards, choose which one to use for OBS. Also, check that screen capture is working via Display Capture, not Window Capture, and disable Game Mode in Windows. Make sure you have the correct version of OBS for your system. These steps usually help to resolve screen tearing issues.

Running OBS Studio as Admin is atrocious security practice, but is sometimes required when running at the edge of a systems performance capability (with OS, OBS Studio and background process settings chosen) and you need OS to prioritize OBS Studio above other tasks. Otherwise - really bad idea... and even if required, make sure you understand the security risks involved. The other time is when, typically games, are so poorly written, that this workaround becomes necessary... and even then, I wouldn't.
With a proper setup (settings appropriate for system, background load minimized to that that required, etc), there is NO need to run OBS Studio as Admin.
