Question / Help I am about done with OBS

While I love the application, I am tired of having to reset all of my scenes everytime there is an update.

What are you doing to make this not a problem?
I don't see a real way to b ack this information up - I do have export, but does that put everything back the way I had it before the patch?

I just moved all my files and wiped my drive, not sure where I put my most recent export.

The scene configuration is stored in a file which is not overwritten during an upgrade.

What happens when you upgrade, do you end up with a default configuration of one empty scene?

This usually occurs due to antivirus software running the new version of OBS in a sandbox environment, so it can't access its files and any changes that are made are lost when exiting OBS. Disable sandboxing in your antivirus (or uninstall it).

i would say disable your anti virus to see if that issue is still there, then it is either a conflicting software or just obs recent version, if its a conflicting software then its not your anti virus
