Question / Help HVEC 265 Encoder Not Working

I am having an issue with the J265/HVEC 265 (AMD Advanced Media Framework) encoder in OBS. I am trying to record games like Overwatch that would normally overload my processor if I tried to record it using the normal x264 encoder. It'll initiate the recording but will immediately crash when I tell it to stop recording. Oddly enough though, the recording is not corrupted and usable.

- My PC specs - (can provide more info if asked)

CPU: AMD FX(tm) - 770K Quad Core 3.5 GHz Quad Core
RAM: 16 GB
OS: 64 bit
GPU: Radeon rx 470 with 4GB of memory

Don't record in H.265, just stick with H.264 for now. H.265 might be useful for streaming some future year (or whenever Twitch enables it), but for now there's no reason to use it. If you want a H.265 file, you can transcode it to that after the fact when you have all the CPU/GPU time you need.

I've tried recording in H.264 but its worse than the normal x264 encoder. It just comes out looking pixelated.
