I recently upgraded my PC (specs in the log) and I've encountered this odd issue when OBS is open. Everything seems to become laggy, and in-game my fps gets cut almost in half (CS:GO goes from ~200fps to ~80fps).

I downloaded xsplit and the issue didn't happen. I tried swapping between NVENC and x264, but it was moot considering this issue happens prior to me even hitting the start recording / streaming button. This is with a brand new OBS Studio install with one game capture. I did notice a huge repeating error "d3d9_shmem_capture: GetRenderTargetData failed (0x88760868)" in the log, which I tried googling but exhausted every link it provided to no previal.

Another thing to add is I monitored my CPU / GPU temp + usage and neither are being pushed to their limits (Usage %: https://gyazo.com/ce9dcdb5a95392df2994dbdea2ee6f4f )

Any suggestions or just a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

[FIXED] So disabling "Multi-Adapter Compatibility" (https://gyazo.com/27034bf2cc6bb430ce6d9d7ffd8218a1 ) solved all these issues. This was probably just a HUGE goof on my part, but just in case someone else has this issue I'll just keep it up instead of deleting the thread :D
