If I play a prerecorded video in OBS the result on youtube will have a 20 second delay. I have to keep the desktop audio ON so the audio is captured and I have to mute the livestream output page on youtube so there will not be a sound loop. The result is that I watch the video in synch with my viewers (20 second delay) but I am "20 seconds ahead" on the sound because I have to keep the desktop audio capture on and the youtube livestream audio off. How can I make it so I can see the same video and listen to the same audio at the same time as my viewers, while continuing to transmit the audio and visual through my PC?
In other words, a) is there any way to mute the desktop audio on obs while still transmitting the sound to the livestream, and
b) is there a way to play the youtube livestream audio without retransmitting it to my viewers?
It almost feels like I need two computers, one for viewing and one for transmitting. Can it be done with a single PC?
