Hey folks!
Just downloaded OBS yesterday and am super stoked to get to using it. I'm creating videos for a course I'm teaching and one of the things that I thought would be useful once I go to post-production (HitFilm Express) is to have a visual marker (like a clapperboard in big productions) that I can easily find and know where different scenes are in a recording. I read that InfoWriter has that capability but I have no idea how to use it (or even which is the latest version).
If anyone could spare a minute to point me in the right direction, I'd be much appreciative. Alternatively, if that's not possible in InfoWriter, are there either other add-ins that would do the same thing or is there an alternative method you might propose. One thought I had was to create a batch file that flashed the entire screen red for two seconds but I'm having technical difficulties assigning a shortcut key for the batch that works in OBS.
