Question / Help How to use DSLR MIC in OBS?!

Hello guys, I am about to purchase SparkCam in order to use my NIKON D5500 DSLR as a webcam.

Now, my only problem is that I have a RODE MIC connected to the camera that I would like to use as my mic option on OBS (since my desktop mic is not so good).

Can anyone help me out and let me know if it's possible or not to use a mic that is connected to a DSLR on OBS? And if so, how do I enable the option to do so?

If the audio doesn't come in via SparkCam, then you'll need a proper capture card... assuming that the external mic audio will be pushed down the HDMI out.
