Question / Help How To Update

I had the previous version of OBS MP and I got a message telling me to update OBS MP to the latest version, but I didn't know how to do it. I ended up just uninstalling OBS MP and Installing OBS Studio. But I want to be able to know how to update OBS in the future.

obs studio is the new name for obs multiplatform

The program doesn't auto-update itself yet, it just notifies you when a new version is available. When you want to update, just download the latest installer and run it. Your settings/scenes/etc. won't be changed.
