How to trigger YouTube Studio 'Go Live' from OBS?

Because YouTube requires it to be done on their site. That is not something they allow OBS to control. Yell at them about it.

It looks to me like the API does support transitioning to Live. Is there something I need to do on my Google account to allow this to work?
The OBS logfile when I attempt to 'Go Live' from OBS is attached. It is getting an error when the call to ResetBroadcast attempts to change the enableMonitorStream setting. Should enableMonitorStream always be true to allow a testing (Preview) stage before live?

I should clarify that these are the steps I followed: 1) Configure the event in YouTube Studio (this usually happens 1 week before the event). 2) OBS Manage Broadcast; 3) Select predefined broadcast and choose the event defined in step 1; 4) Select Broadcast and start streaming; 5) Wait for YouTube Studio to show Preview of Broadcast with Excellent Data; 6) Press OBS Go Live. This is when I get the error. 6) Press Go Live in YouTube Studio - and it goes live.
We do not want to use the Auto-Start feature in YouTube as we want to preview the event and confirm sound quality etc before Golng Live.

Werid cuz when I use mine I just select mine from the list and hit it starts streaming. no need for youtube. I think I set mine on youtube to start broadcasting as soon as it recieves data. Might want to look at all the settings.

On Youtube when you scheulde a stream and the stream info comes up. make sure you have auto start on. no need to hit anything else. there is no issue on my end unless you just want the buttons to sync properly. but that's what I do.
Thanks @DevlinDelFuego. I agree that it works if you set AutoStart On - but we want to run the livestream in Test/Preview mode before going live.
