Question / Help How to stream/record computer/desktop audio

I have OBS Muiltiplatform on a Mac and I looked in audio input and output capture for desktop audio (like sounds from the game and Skype). Is there anyway to do that?

There are virtual cable solutions,but they usually de sync after a while of usage and I have to reset them. There are 2 hardware solutions that work good, one is to route the optical digital out into tend optical digital in on the Mac. If you don't have an optical in and out, you can use a Roland Tricapture. It is gorgeous as it has a "Loopback" button which reroute a all of the outs and ins into itself without feedback. So if you have a microphone plugged into it, your iPod plugged into it, and you have a video game and Skype running and the Roland is set as the output, you can send all that audio into any device using teh Roland as an input device using the Loopback button. They go for about 120 new and 90 used.
