Hello, I apologize for not scouring the thread for an answer, but I did do a search through this site and google for an answer.
I just used OBS perfectly yesterday and today I had a windows 10 update. I launched OBS to make sure it's ready for a stream I'm doing later and suddenly my mic and desktop audio weren't getting picked up. I was able to figure out quickly that the input section was set to "default" and I use Voicemeter Banana-- so I KNOW my microphone should be on "microphone (USB Condenser Microphone)" and the desktop audio should be on "VoiceMeter Input."
I've heard this be an issue often, and changing it back seems to have fixed my issue of it being messed up. But I know nothing else happened but a windows update. I follow some streamers too that insist they didn't touch anything, but their settings are reset to defaults.
Is there any way to make it so that Windows doesn't reset anything? I could pass along the information if there's a way. TYIA.
