Question / Help How to save two video files, different scenes?

Hi there all.

So I've been trying to figure this out on my own and I've resolved to ask for help. I'm using OBS to record myself for YouTube videos, doing reactions to gaming etc. I've set it up so one scene is me in the corner and whatever is going on, on the screen and the second scene is just my video of myself.

I'd like to be able to record them both simultaneously to save as two files so that I could use both in the editing process and not have to use another piece of software for the video of myself and attempt to sync up audio.

Is there a way to do this and save both video files? I've been trying to figure it out all day.

Many thanks for any help.

You have 2 possibilities: 1: Run 2 obs instances each recording one thing or 2: set the obs canvas and output size to 2 times the width of you video and then put them next to each other and split them again into 2 seperate tracks in your editing software (eg. if your screen and webcam are each 1920x1080, use 3840x1080).
