Question / Help How to remove the black border from my videos?

Hello. I am having trouble recording. When ever I record, and I stop recording, I use a FLV-MP4 converter and then I put it into Microsoft Movie Maker, but it has a thick black border around the video. I have tried many different settings and I have tried to look up videos on it, but nothing has worked! Any help is appreciated!
