How to Remove Green Lines on the Bottom When Playing VHS Tapes

Hello :) I am new to OBS and I am trying to convert some old VHS tapes that haven't been made to DVD and I am getting some green lines on the bottom, but the tracking and tape play perfectly. How do I fix this? Also, it shows in small size, and I want it normal sized as the goal is to put these on a backup drive for later playback and store the old ones as tapes degrade with time.

To get rid of a green line at the bottom, add the crop filter to your capture device source and crop as many bottom lines required to get rid of the green.

If the capture source isn't occupying the whole canvas, it means you didn't set the OBS canvas size to the capture size. Usually, VHS tapes are captured as 320x200 or 640x480 or 720x576 or such low resolutions. Set Settings->Video->Base (Canvas) Resolution as well as the output resolution to the same resolution as your capture device resolution. So you get a video where one pixel from the capture device corresponds to exactly one pixel in the video. This is optimal quality.
Upscaling to a current 1920x1080 monitor resolution is the task of the video player while playback. Don't upscale the video itself. This will only bloat the file size and actually decrease video quality.
