how to record in CFR

Hi @Rhatake ,

I have tried force-cfr=1, it does not do anything.
The issue persists still in VFR.

I want CFR because I work with DavinciResolve, and whenever I render post-edit, the frame is just drifting from the audio.
I noticed this after 3 videos of editting.

Thank you.

If rounding of the timestamps by modifying timescale that proposed in this thread works OK for you - you may use it (unfortunately, original "mantis" page with in depth explanation gone forever, so only this left):

Hi Suslik V,

I just found out that my recording to .mkv returns VFR, while my recording to .mp4 returns CFR.

Any idea why ?

Thank you

Please, specify the method used to distinguish VFR from CFR. Because, in my tests the frame duration deviation is about 0.001 sec per sample (only few samples affected, not whole footage) and this difference is negligible.
