Question / Help How to prevent video stutter/lag

Hello, I'm new to OBS which I've only really used a couple times - I'm not a gamer nor do I have the best setup, but here's the deal: I need to use OBS for a Facebook livestream while running different software in the bg (namely Spotify, Chrome, VLC, etc.) and even while recording in local there's a nasty stutter at every given time. I have a single monitor setup with the current specs:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)
CPU / 2,8 GHz Intel Core i7
RAM / 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics / Intel Iris 1536 MB
Last night I ran the OBS wizard to get the ideal setup for Facebook Live and this is what I've got:

Output Mode / Simple
Video Bitrate / 1600kbps
Encoder / Software (x264)
Audio Bitrate / 160
Recording Quality / Same as stream
Recording Format / mkv
Base (Canvas) Resolution / 1200x800
Output (Scaled) Resolution / 853x533
Downscale Filter / Bicubic (Sharpened scaling, 16 samples)
Common FPS Values / 30
Color Format / NV12
Color Space / 601
Color Range / Partial
Disable OSX V-Sync - Reset OSX V-Sync on Exit (both are checked)
Is there anything I should change here or is this an encoding problem altogether? I'm not tech-savvy or anything so I wouldn't know where to start really.

Here's the latest log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/3wjLu_XohmbmzHgH

Thanks in advance for any help you'd be able to provide.

No output session in your log.

Open OBS. Start a recording/streaming session. Observe your issue. Stop the session. Upload the current log before quitting OBS.
