Question / Help How to pass on already compressed video from capture card

As the title states, I'm wondering the best way to have a capture card compress the video, pass it to obs who simply relays it to the online streaming service. Everything I see if receive video from capture card and compress it further, what if the capture card compresses it and sends it at say 4000Kilobits, how would the card simply relay that.

OBS doesn't do that. Because it does scene composition, it has to decompress and recompress. Not all capture cards do on-device compression
