How to pair Nvidia Broadcast with my webcam in OBS?

I notice that I can only use my Iriun webcam directly with OBS, but not when connected to Nvidia Broadcast. Any idea why it's not displaying if I switch the source to Nvidia Broadcast?

You have to completely close OBS. Then select the camera in the Nvidia Broadcaster. Then open OBS and select Nvidia Broadcaster as the camera where you previously selected your camera.

I tried exactly the sequence u mentioned and ensured OBS was completely closed to begin with, but I'm still getting blank in OBS. If I close Nvidia Broadcast and just leave my Iriun open, the feed appears in OBS.

It's a Windows limitation. You can use a webcam either in one app or in a different app but not in both apps at the same time.

I'm not using in 2 apps. Iriun webcam parsed to Nvidia, and Nvidia to OBS, so it's only 1 in OBS.

Lo que suelo hacer cuando me ocurre este problema es seleccionar en Nvidia Broadcaster otra cámara (la cámara virtual de OBS por ejemplo o la de otro programa, o la de la tarjeta capturadora). Luego volvo a seleccionar la cámara. Si es necesario cerrar el Broadcaster y lo vuelvo a abrir.

Si ya tienes la cámara en Broadcaster

En OBS enciende y apaga la cámara.

Si no funciona, en propiedades, - en formato de video, seleccione ARGB (o algo similar).

- En formato de video, selecciona ARGB (o algo similar). Es el formato Broadcaster.
- Elija una velocidad de cuadros y una resolución adecuadas.

I did this too but it's still not appearing in obs unfortunately.

It doesn't work for me now either. I use the latest Nvidia drivers and OBS 30.1.

Fortunately I alternatively use the Nvidia effects via Stream FX. But some of them can only be used from Nvidia Broadcast.

To troubleshoot which app is currently using a webcam, you can check Windows 11 settings > Security and Privacy > Camera. This app is blocking access to other apps.
