Question / Help how to modify video length?

Hi, i recorded a webinar using OBS but the recording over ran the actual length of the webinar because i didnt "stop recording" when it ended.
I want to modify the video recording and edit out the part that was recorded past the end.
what is a good video editing software to edit the video ?
is it possible to do that with OBS ? I took a quick look and didnt see how.

DaVinci Resolve. Adobe Premiere. Sony Vegas.

If you just want to cut off pieces, you can as well use avidemux. If you cut at reference frames, it's even able to cut lossless without re-encoding:
