Hey guys, i need your help
In our work we have a Oculus Rift for Demo Experience, i wanna stream the Oculus Rift on a TV to demonstrate people arround the player on a TV what he see.

Now i have found this software with a instruction to stream Oculus on TV, but its for an older version from OBS Studio.

Can somebody give me a new instruction for this?

This was the old one:

Step 1. Download Broadcast Software from OBS > obsproject.com

Step 2. When you install it, go to Settings and open up the settings menu.
In the settings menu > General > you will see a settings profile field - create a new one, you can call it as you want, and then click add.

Step 3. Next go to Advanced > Make sure that the option Disable encoding while previewing is checked, afterwards just click ok.

Step 4. Go to the scene box right click on it, click add scene and you can call it as you like.

Step 5. Click on sources box > add > monitor capture > click ok and close the tab for monitor capture

Step 6. Click on sources box> add > game capture > click ok and close the tab for game capture

Step 7. Click on preview screen > and you will see what's on the Oculus Rift Screen

Some Points are different to the actual software.
Would be nice when somebody can help me!

I have the same question.
I just downloaded OBS Studio - and it is not obvious how to setup preview mirroring of Oculus Rift output.

The link mentioned above is likely to funnel a lot more traffic here with the same question.
It sounds like maybe we are to use OBS Classic?

Can anyone clue me in where the OBS Classic download is - I couldn't find it....

Alternately, any suggestions on how to use Studio for the purpose of mirroring Rift output on a screen?

Thanks.

With Studio, I can see how to create a new profile, create a scene - but then get stuck on sources, as none of the source options that I try seem to be able to capture the Rift image being driven by a Nvidia 1070 with the latest drivers on Windows 10.

Anyone been able to pull a live stream from your Rift system with Studio?
