Question / Help How to make video HD? 720p or 1080p?

I am recording from a Mac OSx and I cant seem to figure out how to make the recording hd. it is not clear and the current quality is only 480p. can you please help?

i dont look anywhere but when i go into my movies folder and open the video, it is not clear. i can certainly tell that it is not 720p. so i assumed it was 480p
