Question / Help How to keep the encoder from overloading during 720p stream

Can anyone give me some basic defaults for streaming 720p? I have tried many combinations of resolutions and stream speeds. The encoder keeps getting overloaded. The only thing I can think of is that my computer's video card can't keep up with the video output for the stream. Internet is not an issue on my end. I have a 350mbps down/25mbps upstream. Also, I can't figure out how to run audio into obs from my mixer to get a better sound. Any help would gre

I will try and get a log file this weekend. I’m using a Mac Pro desktop unit with 2 Xeon processors running 2.0ghz, only dual core though with 7gb ram. Ssd HD. Ram wouldn’t be an issue would it? Black magic capture card is my source input.
