How to keep aspect ratio when changing resolution?

The game is in a resolution of 1600x1200, the video must be in 1920x1080 with the same proportions and, accordingly, black fields on the sides.
But when I set rescale 1600x1200 to 1920x1080, the proportions are not preserved - 1600x1200 just stretches to 1920x1080.

OBS set up:
1) Settings\Output\Recording\Rescale output – [v](1920х1080) (I tried to turn it off, while in point 3 it was 1920x1080);
2) Settings\Video\Base (canvas) resolution - 1600х1200;
3) Settings\Video\Output (scaled) resolution - 1920х1080 (I tried to set 1600x1200, while point 1 was enabled).

But these manipulations did not help.
Is it possible to make a 1920х1080 video in OBS studio from 1600х1200 source, maintaining aspect ratio and without cropping?

Yes, I've disabled Rescale output. Both Base (canvas) resolution and Output (scaled) resolution set to 1920х1080, and also made Transform > Fit to screen in the source settings.
But these manipulations did not help.
The game screen retains its proportions, but the size is small, not full screen:
